The release, available as part of Circularo application version 26.1.0, brings together enhanced bulk document distribution, SCIM-based automated user lifecycle management, expanded I.CA Qualified Signing, new administrative controls, collaborative document preparation and a range of user experience improvements.

Rather than treating digital signing as an isolated point in a document workflow, Circularo is continuing to develop its platform around a broader digital trust model - connecting identity, access, collaboration, document integrity, signing and governance within the same digital transaction environment.

Scaling high-volume digital transactions

The Summer 2026 release introduces a redesigned Bulk Share workflow that enables organizations to distribute the same document template to large recipient lists through CSV import.

The enhanced workflow supports multiple recipient roles, guided validation, inline data editing and centralized delivery settings, while processing takes place in the background. Organizations can use the capability for high-volume processes including contracts, NDAs, onboarding documentation and HR workflows, including transactions involving multiple parties and sign-offs. The result is a more scalable way to manage repetitive document processes without requiring a corresponding increase in administrative effort.

Connecting digital transactions with enterprise identity

Circularo has also introduced SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management), extending its existing SAML authentication capabilities with automated user provisioning and lifecycle management.

SCIM enables organizations to synchronize user creation, account changes, role assignments, organizational information and deactivation directly from their identity provider. Circularo supports Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, OneLogin, Ping Identity and other SCIM-compatible directory services.

For enterprise IT and security teams, this reduces manual administration while helping keep user access aligned with the organization's identity infrastructure.

Bringing qualified signing into collaborative workflows

The release also expands Circularo's I.CA Qualified Signing capabilities. The initial implementation focused primarily on self-signing. With the latest release, documents can now be sent to internal or external recipients who possess compatible I.CA-qualified signing devices, allowing qualified electronic signatures to become part of collaborative business workflows.

This expands the range of business processes that can incorporate qualified electronic signatures while maintaining compliance with applicable electronic signature regulations.

Strengthening governance and organizational control

As organizations digitize increasingly sensitive processes, the ability to control how documents and information are shared becomes an important part of digital trust.

Circularo's new administrative controls allow organizations to determine whether users can share documents, folders, templates and other resources across the organization or with external recipients. These controls are particularly relevant to organizations operating in regulated or strictly internal environments. Administrators can also configure the appearance of electronic signatures directly from the administration interface, including Signature ID, border and verification details, with a live preview of the selected configuration.

Making collaboration part of the transaction

The release introduces Collaborative Drafts, enabling multiple users to work on the same document during preparation. Teams can update fields, workflows and other settings while changes are shared immediately, allowing users to refine a transaction together before it is sent. This helps reduce unnecessary cancellations and rework when documents require last-minute preparation changes.

At the same time, a series of interface improvements creates a more consistent experience across document preparation and management. Recipient settings have been consolidated into a unified tab-based interface, while document upload and document details have been redesigned around the same interaction model.

Additional improvements simplify document notification counters and provide more detailed signature annotation information, helping users focus on documents requiring action while making signing information easier to inspect.

Building trust into the digital transaction

The Summer 2026 release reflects Circularo's broader approach to digital trust: trust should not be added to a digital transaction at the very end - it should be built into the transaction from the beginning.

That means connecting identity and access management with document workflows, collaboration, governance and qualified electronic signatures, while maintaining an experience that remains practical for everyday users.
